REALLY?!?!

Somehow, I’m not getting a “warm and fuzzy tropical feeling”  here.  No amount of fake windows with painted water and palm trees can take away from the nasty, terribly stained carpet, the dark brown baseboards, the exposed wires or “true” view of the worn fence.

It would, however, put me in the mood for a Pina Colada.  Not to sit back and relax, but to drink myself into a stupor until I forgot where I really was!

REALLY?!?!

Rule #47 in the Realtor handbook – highlight upgrades like rock fireplaces to entice buyers.  What school fails to teach us is to use discretion!  While a nice rock fireplace is wonderful, the overall feel of this photo is very creepy!

DISCLAIMER – I had a friend ask if I take these photos!  The answer was a very quick NO WAY!  These are actual MLS photos I’ve found while searching for property for my buyers.  I would not and will not ever take photos like these REALLY!?!?! photos I post.

REALLY?!?!?!?

Now I know it’s been tough to mow with all the rain recently. So, just wait a few days to take the photo. Really. These weeds must be at least 4 feet tall!

Cannon Ball

OK. I know it’s not swimming weather. But, even in mid-July here in Texas, I wouldn’t be tempted by this.

I’m not tempted to show it, either.

Start Packing

I’m assuming that since this home is listed, the sellers would like to sell it and move into their new place. No one says a seller must wait until a contract arrives to begin packing. In fact, the more sellers decrease their “stuff” beforehand the more traffic increases afterword. If nothing else, sellers get a jump start on the daunting task that lies ahead.

Location, Location, Location

You know what they say: Location is everything. I wonder if the home in this photo was listed as having a “water view”….

Another Real MLS Photo

I came across this photo and had to share it. Did I miss this DIY episode on HGTV?

Real MLS Photos

My clients are always asking me if I like my job. I truthfully reply “Yes”. I really do love my job. Every day is different and I’ve had the opportunity to meet some really neat people. I also see some very interesting things!

If I’ve ever listed your home, you know how long it takes for me to get photos for the Internet. I am very particular and get so many shots of each room, then go to the office to edit them. The Internet is the most powerful tool to sell a home. The photos must be perfect.

So you can imagine my surprise when I see photos like this one. Really?!?! I wonder if the agent listed a 1/2 bath out back.

I just wanted to share this.
